2012 Australian Open golf leaderboard: John Senden has a two-stroke lead after three rounds

Aussie John Senden fired a 2-under 70 in the third round of the Australian Open, and will take a two-stroke lead into the final round on Sunday.

John Senden will have a two stroke lead entering the final round of the Emirates Australian Open after shooting a 2-under par 70 in the third round. The Australian is 7-under for the tournament, which is being held at The Lakes Golf Club in Sydney, Australia. Senden has a two stroke lead over Justin Rose, who is alone in second at 5-under par. Kieran Pratt, Peter Senior, and Matthew Jones are all right behind in third place at 4-under par. American Kyle Stanley is tied for sixth at 2-under.

Senden has been able to keep his momentum going after coming out of the gates hot with a first round 66. He actually recorded three bogeys during the third round, but evened that out with three birdies and an eagle on the 11th hole.

Scott Gardiner had the best round of the day, shooting 4-under to get himself back to 1-under for the tournament.

Other notable scores: Stuart Appleby is tied for sixth at 3-under, and Adam Scott and Geoff Ogilvy are tied for ninth at 1-under.
